Sculptors were invited to design bespoke sculptures and installations inspired by locations around the gardens of Houghton Lodge, Winchester, Hants. The trail, exploring all areas of the gardens, features 57 individual pieces from 16 artists. Zoe Wilson said, “Sarah [the curator] and I brought all of the artists together, we all have a connection with one another as well as Houghton Lodge and the surrounding gardens. I love garden sculpture in a natural setting, it’s a lovely sign off to display a final piece in a setting as beautiful as the sculpture itself.’ Houghton Lodge’s sculpture trail is running across the summer until September 30th 2025.
